Janette Manrara welcomed a smitten Pete Wicks alongside his Strictly partner Jowita Przystal, adding fuel to the romance rumours as the pair cosied up to one another.

Pete Wicks and Jowita Przystal couldn’t hide the chemistry between them as Strictly Come Dancing viewers continued to believe they could become a couple off-screen.

The TOWIE star, 36, made his debut in the BBC One competition alongside Jowita, 30, and has showered her with praises since first meeting her in the Strictly training room as the pair compete for the coveted Glitterball.

Just days after their sultry Paso Doble, Pete Wicks and Jowita Przystal chatted to Janette Manrara during an appearance on the Strictly spin-off show, It Takes Two, aired this Monday, September 23, 2024, on BBC Two, and the pair were grilled over the competition so far.

“I am absolutely loving it and I never thought I would be because I didn’t think this was really my thing, I’m not a dancer”, Pete first said, “I don’t think I have rhythm, but what I am loving is the whole learning experience and that the bit that is most exciting for me, in the rehearsal room with Jowita.”

He then added: “It’s my favourite bit because I’m a bit geeky and I love to learn something that’s really and utterly new to me, it makes me really happy. And she makes me really happy every day.” Off-screen, some viewers couldn’t help but interpret their cosy body language as a clear sign love is in the air.

“Their chemistry is palpable!”, one wrote on social media. Another echoed: “Pete and Jowita have the best chemistry of any couple in this series by far.” A third agreed: “The electricity between Pete and Jovita is palpable.” This comes after Pete Wicks was caught gushing over his dance partner during a chat with his best friend Sam Thompson on their podcast, Staying Relevant. Speaking to the Made in Chelsea star, whose girlfriend Zara McDermott took part in the BBC show last year, Pete revealed how training had been going.

An exciteable Sam began: “I’m so glad you like it!” To which Pete replied: “Jowita is just – I could not have got a better partner.” Asked whether he could now see why it becomes such an intense bubble, Pete said: “I can’t sit here and go ‘she’s my l[ife]’ – we don’t know each other that well. But what I do know is that she makes me feel good. And that is really important and hopefully I make her feel good and that’s a really nice place to be, you know what I mean?”

Sam appeared to tear up as he looked at other people in the room while Pete continued: “She’s made this week as easy as possible for me. She’s up every morning – we’re there at f***ing six AM every morning before the studio’s open and we’re f***ing getting cold and dark and every morning I’m excited to go.”

“I love this Pete,” an emotional Sam replied. Pete added: “So yeah, she’s great.” The pair’s joint podcast, Staying Relevant, had shared the clip at the weekend with the caption: “Today is the BIG day. Our very own Peter, James, Jonathan, Joseph Wicks takes centre stage on the famous ballroom floor! We’re excited, we love you and we couldn’t be more proud.”

This sparked a flurry of comments among Strictly fans, particularly after Pete opened up about his love life, reflecting on his many conquests. Despite having his share of experience in the dating pool, Pete, who was recently linked to Love Island’s Maura Higgins after a steamy kiss, admitted he was keen to settle down as he once said: “I’m going to get married one day, I believe in soulmates, but I’m not going to be in a relationship if I don’t see it as the person, I’m going to spend the rest of my life with.”
