According to the holiday experts at On The Beach, Sharm El Sheikh is a ‘proper’ haven if you’re looking for somewhere to relax and have fun this winter, the Express reports.
This Egyptian resort is situated on the coastal strip along the Red Sea, and despite being able to reach it in just over five hours, the January weather couldn’t be any more different to that of the UK.
During this time, there are highs of 22C – which is actually the coldest month of the year in Egypt. However, for UK holidaymakers searching for some warmth, it’s just perfect.
This region of Egypt really has something for everyone, so it makes the perfect travel destination. From dune-filled deserts to towering mountain ranges, the natural scenery is nothing short of spectacular.
