The beauty expert has been back on our screens talking about the best night products, including an innovative moisture-trapping face mask that sells one every three minutes

Whenever beauty guru Nadine Baggott recommends a product, we know it’s one that we can really trust – which is why we’re totally sold on one of her latest recommendations.

On her recent appearance on ITV’s This Morning with Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard this week, Nadine was discussed beauty products that work while you sleep, either to deliver visible skin results or to help you to achieve a better night’s sleep, including a moisture-boosting skin ‘wrapping’ face mask that Nadine called “collagen in a tube”.

Explained to the two presenters how Medicube Collagen Night Wrapping Mask worked, the popular beauty influencer said, “This is selling one every three minutes in Boots,” before demonstrating that it dries to a clear film on the skin, which you then peel off in the morning, revealing softer, plumper skin.

“They literally form a film over your face, because research has shown that when you sleep, you get something called trans-epidermal water loss, which is a very posh, scientific name for water evaporation, so we wake up really dehydrated,” Nadine explained. “[This mask is] almost like wearing a raincoat outside, and what you have is super, super hydrated skin.”

A 75ml tube of this Medicube mask costs £27.99 from Superdrug, although it’s currently slightly reduced in price on Amazon, down to £24.98 (although selling fast), where shoppers have been singing its praises too.

“Honestly love this product so much, it made my face glow for days and is easy to take off, just a fabulous product in general,” one customer wrote in the reviews section.

“Really lovely face mask. Made my skin super soft and glowy the next morning,” another agreed.

“Never had skin like I have now since using it. Locks my skincare and wake up with amazing skin,” a third review reads.

Not every shopper was quite so wowed though, with one commenting that they “weren’t sure what the hype is about”: “Bought this because it was all over social media,” the review reads. “Tried it twice. It feels okay on the skin and didn’t really bother me during my sleep but I didn’t notice any difference when I remove the product. My face didn’t seem shiny or plump or anything. Just felt the same really.”

Still, with over 1,300 five star reviews on Amazon alone – and the thumbs up from the experts – this is one product we’re super keen to try.

Also recommended by Nadine in this video segment is the Wrinkles Schminkles Forehead & Under Eye Wrinkle Set, £30, stick-on patches that supposedly stop creases forming while you sleep, plus the Balancium Ceramide Lip Butter Sleeping Mask, £22, from popular skincare brand COSRX.

She has also previously praised The Skin Diary Night Repair Therapy, £135, as being ’20 times more power than retinol’.
