Taylor Swift was left waiting more than an hour for Travis Kelce to arrive at the airport as the Kansas City Chiefs tight end hurriedly made his way to the private jet

Taylor Swift was left twiddling her thumbs for over an hour as her boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce, arrived late to the airport where her private jet was waiting.

The Kansas City Chiefs player, who is currently enjoying a bye week after a flawless 5-0 start to the season, was travelling to Swift’s home for a short visit before the pop icon returns to performing. However, separate journeys to the airport resulted in Swift and her father Scott waiting for an hour before Kelce made his appearance.

As per the Daily Mail, he appeared flustered as he hurried onto the plane. A member of Swift’s security team was on hand to greet Kelce and escort him to the Gulfstream private jet. After rushing up the stairs, they were soon airborne.

With the couple having been apart for several weeks, Kelce will likely be spending quality time with Swift before she resumes her tour on October 18 with a three-night stint in Miami. She’ll then perform in New Orleans and Indianapolis before a series of nine shows in Toronto and Vancouver from November 14 through December 8.

Despite her hectic schedule, Taylor Swift is unlikely to be spotted at any upcoming Chiefs games. She missed the third and fourth games, allowing her NFL star boyfriend, Travis Kelce, to concentrate on the season.

The Chiefs’ bye week means Kelce will be away from the facility until October 15 – he’s expected to spend this time in New York with Swift. Despite missing Kelce’s 35th birthday celebrations earlier in the week, Swift spent time with his teammates’ partners following their recent victory.

In a video with Mecole Hardman’s wife, Swift was asked: “How do you feel after this win,” to which she responded: “No, it’s important that you answer the question this time,” before Gordon continued: “I think that we feel really good about this week, we are 5-0.”

Swift then chimed in: “Going into a bye week”. Kelce has had a slow start to the season, clocking just 69 yards in his first three games, but has bounced back with impressive performances in the last two games, racking up 159 yards.
