Virgin Media users have been left without internet service after the company was rocked by an outage.

At the time of writing, just under 6,000 people have logged problems on Downdetector, which monitors the status of online services. One user said: “Can’t access anything hosted on Microsoft Azure on my Virgin Media connection as of around 10am UK today. All other site access seems fine and I can access Azure fine on my other connections.”

Other users flocked to social media to air their grievances, with one tagging Virgin Media on X, saying: “Wifi issues again and unable to access any Virgin Media help as it seems nothing is working… My Virgin Media, web pages etc…” Another user made a jab at the company saying: “Oh look, Vicrgin Media is on fire again. Must be the weekly outage.”
