Since inheriting a country in crisis from the Tories last summer, Labour’s time in power has certainly been an eventful rollercoaster of a ride so far. And we want to know what you make of it all! We’d love to get your thoughts on the Labour Party and how you feel about their current performance and direction.

There’s a lot to think about. Whether you’re a die-hard supporter, a casual observer, or just someone who’s curious about the whole political scene, your opinion really matters to us.

Which is why we’ve put together a quick survey to get your views on how well you think the party’s doing. Keir Starmer’s time as Prime Minister has so far been a curious mix of bold policy initiatives offset by contentious cost-saving decisions which saw his approval rating plummet. Since taking over from the Conservatives in July, he pledged to unify the Labour Party and get the nation back on its feet.

And there has been much to shout about since, with many praising the government’s honesty about the state of the economy, Labour’s handling of the riots, early steps on reforming the NHS and the energy sector, ending public sector strikes and scrapping the Rwanda scheme. What do you think of Labour’s performance in government so far? Take our survey below. If you can’t see it click here

On the flip-side there’s been the freebies scandal, perceived inaction on immigration, and many have criticised Labour’s response to the war in Israel and Gaza. But in many people’s eyes perhaps the very worst thing the government has done so far are the cuts to winter fuel payments, which sparked widespread condemnation.

Our far-reaching survey really aims to get down to the nitty gritty of how you feel the country is being run, and it’s also an opportunity to help shape The Mirror’s future coverage.

We’re also interested to hear how you’d vote in the next election, and whether you think Labour have made any mistakes? What did you think of them raising National Insurance for employers, their military and defence pledges, their response to Donald Trump and child poverty?

The survey wont take long, we’re really interested in hearing from you, so be honest and let us know what’s on your mind. Whether you’re happy with Labour’s leadership or think they could be doing more, we want to know.
