Meghan Markle teases new Netflix show in trailer

Meghan Markle has revealed that the premiere of her new Netflix series With Love, Meghan has been delayed due to the devastation caused by the LA wildfires.

In a statement released on Sunday, 12 January, the Duchess Of Sussex explained that she was delaying the highly-anticipated launch so people could “focus on the needs” of the individuals who have been affected by the recent wildfires.

Announcing the news, she said: “I’m thankful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch, as we focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in my home state of California.”

When will With Love, Meghan premiere?

While the show was originally set to air on Wednesday, 15 January, the eight-part series will now make its debut on Netflix in a little less than two months time. The new premiere date is set for Tuesday, 4 March, meaning fans have just over seven weeks to wait before they can catch it on their screens.

Is there a trailer for the show?

If you can’t wait for With Love, Meghan, the trailer for the series has been released and gives a good insight as to what viewers can expect. During the trailer for the show, Meghan could be seen doing everything from harvesting honey, picking flowers and decorating cakes while accompanied by a string of A-list guests.

Posting the trailer on her Instagram account, Meghan revealed that she was “so excited” to share the first-look and thanked the team at Netflix. “I have been so excited to share this with you! I hope you love the show as much as I loved making it,” she wrote. “Wishing you all a fantastic new year! Thanks to our amazing crew and the team @Netflix. Beyond grateful for the support – and fun!”

What is the show about?

The show features a mixture of “how-to’s” and “candid conversations” with some of the Duchess Of Sussex’s friends as she invites them to a beautiful estate in California. A description of the series on Tudum’s website, which is the official companion site to Netflix, said: “Produced by Meghan, With Love, Meghan blends practical how-to’s and candid conversation with friends, new and old.

“Meghan shares personal tips and tricks, embracing playfulness over perfection, and highlights how easy it can be to create beauty, even in the unexpected. She and her guests roll up their sleeves in the kitchen, the garden, and beyond, and invite you to do the same.”

Who will feature on the show?

Eagle-eyed viewers may have spotted Prince Harry giving Meghan a hug in the trailer for the show, but he’s not the only famous face who’ll be appearing in the series. Among those set to star in the show is make-up artist Daniel Martin – who royal fans may know as the person behind Meghan’s gorgeous wedding day make-up.

Elsewhere, fellow former Suits star Abigail Spencer will make an appearance as will The Office actress Mindy Kaling. Also on the list include Delfina Blaquier, who is the wife of Harry’s polo player friend Nacho Figueras, and Jennifer Rudolph, who is the co-founder of The Godmothers bookstore.
