Geordie Shore’s Charlotte Crosby is days away from giving birth to her second child and has decided to let the cameras in to document the experience for the second time

It’s been two years since Charlotte Crosby became a mum after giving birth to daughter Alba, and now the reality star is pregnant again with her second child, announcing her pregnancy just before her child’s second birthday in October. With her due date this month, Charlotte hasn’t got long to wait to meet her new baby via planned C-section.

In an exclusive interview with the Mirror, Charlotte, 34, explained how her labour will go this time around.

“I had a C-section with Alba, and it was such a good experience,” she said: “I like to be in control – especially after my ectopic pregnancy [in 2016]. Waking up from that operation and being told I almost died and lost two reproductive organs was awful. I never want to feel out of control like that again. I would always only have a C-section anyway, I have absolutely no desire to push a baby out of my vagina as it is too hard.”

Career-wise, she is returning to her TV roots and filming a new reality TV show, which continues to document her life as a mum – hot on the heels of Charlotte In Sunderland. It really is a fly-on-the wall programme with the cameras following every step of her pregnancy journey.

“The cameras will be there for the birth, just like with Alba,” Charlotte reveals. “It was actually really fun last time. We had a playlist.”

Charlotte, shares daughter Alba with her fiancé Jake Ankers, with the couple living in a luxury Manchester apartment having put her family’s Sunderland mansion on the market in February. Teaming up with Rightmove, Charlotte is proud to champion her hometown of Sunderland in the North East for Rightmove’s Selling Sunderland campaign video, a playful nod to Netflix’s property-reality show Selling Sunset.

“I’ve always said how funny it would be to do a property show in Sunderland,” Charlotte grins. “When Rightmove approached me, it was like we were on the same wavelength.”

Speaking of houses, back in November, four robbers armed with a machete broke into her home while she was upstairs with her two-year-old daughter Alba. Her fiancé Jake Ankers said he tried to chase the robbers out of the house but wasn’t able to catch them.

At the time, Charlotte shared an update with her followers on Instagram and said all her plans for Black Friday deals had been “crippled” after the break-in, which she admitted she is still struggling to come to terms with. She added she was in hospital but reassured her fans that her baby is fine.
