Jesy Nelson announced over the weekend that she was pregnant with twins but while celebs rushed to congratulate her, her former Little Mix stars have not acknowledged the news

Jesy Nelson’s recent pregnancy news has been ignored by her former bandmates.

The ex Little Mix singer took to social media over the weekend to announce to fans that she was pregnant – with twins. Jesy, 33, shared a snap of herself with her blossoming bump as she said: “She’s eating for 3 now.” While posing, the Boyz songstress who launched a solo career in 2021 rocked a white sports bra and camouflage patterned sweatpants as she rubbed her bump. Her on-off partner Zion Foster stood behind her as they posed for the photo.

Her post has been liked over 438,000 times by fans and celebrity pals, with over 7,000 people taking to the comment section of Jesy’s snap. Amy Child’s commented: “Congrats babe.” While former Kingsland Road singer Jay Scott added: “Awww congrats.” “Go on girl,” said her ex, Chris Hughes. X Factor’s Scarlett Lee added: “If anyone deserves this happiness it’s most definitely you Jesy. Love you so much congratulations.”

However, her former bandmates, who she walked away from on December 14, 2020, have failed to acknowledge her upload. Following her departure, her former bandmates Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock stated that they were fully supportive of Jesy, adding “we love her very much.”

But their relationship soon continued to become strained with more rumours of a feud between the quartet continuing to circulate. Jesy failed to publicly congratulate Leigh-Anne and Perrie when they announced that they were pregnant as they dropped the news just days apart.

In August 2021, Jesy revealed that she was no longer in contact with Perrie, Leigh-Anne and Jade. Speaking to The Guardian, she said when asked if they were in contact: “No, not as much. Not now. I think we all need time. It’s a big thing that’s happened. I still love them to pieces. They were like my sisters.”

The girls, who continued as a trio following her departure unfollowed Jesy after the singer took aim at them on multiple occasions. Things to blows when Jesy launched the music video for her debut track, Boyz, featuring Nicki Minaj – during which, Diddy also made an appearance.

She was accused of Blackfishing – a term used to describe a white person who alters their appearance to appear Black or mixed-race. Leigh-Anne was accused of slating Jesy in leaked direct messages shared by influencer NoHun. NoHun had asked fans if he should perform a routine to Jesy’s debut solo track, and Leigh-Anne replied saying “no”.

“OMG Leigh-Anne I thought you were all ok,” he replied, to which Leigh-Anne said: “Do a video about her being a black fish instead.” She added: “She blocked us. Cut us off. Horrible person.” Minaj even got involved in the row, and slammed Leigh-Anne as a “jealous clown” in a live video. Jesy added of the allegations in the live video with Nicki, who featured in the track: “Thank you babe, honestly that really means a lot,” before explaining that she never wanted to “offend people of colour” from the music video.
