Dallas Cowboys fans won’t only have their NFL team to provide entertainment throughout the 2024 season but the team’s cheerleading team who are set to stun following their Netflix series

The full squad of the Dallas Cowboys cheerleading team has been revealed following their hit Netflix show.

The series called America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders – which premiered earlier this year – detailed the strenuous journey of many aspiring cheerleaders hard at work in their attempts to join the star-studded 2024 squad ahead of the new NFL season.

On top of the arduous selection process, it also delves into the struggles experienced by the women that ended up making the team.

Following the cheerleading team from auditions to training camp all the way to the football field throughout the 2023 season, the entertaining show captured the imagination of millions of viewers who were left eagerly waiting for the reveal of the 2024 squad.

The squad is made up of 24 returnees and 10 newbies with California native Charly Barby – who became a fan favourite throughout the airing of the show – finally realising her dream after sadly missing out on a spot for the 2023 team.

After being sent home at the end of training camp last year, Barby made a promise to her fellow cheerleaders, telling them: “I’ll be back with you next year.” A promise she ended up keeping.

Celebrating her achievement on Instagram, the cheerleader wrote: “Best day of my life. My literal dream come true,’ ‘I would not change a thing and honored does not even describe how I feel. This organization means the absolute world to me and to be able to call it home now means more than I’ll ever be able to say. What a legacy to be a part of. I am so excited.”

Experiencing a similar journey to Barby, Kelly Villares was also shown the door during the first few episodes of last year’s show before returning to join the 2024 team.

She also took to Instagram where she said: “Someone needs to pinch me. I am so honored to be a part of this team alongside these incredible women. My lifelong dream came true today, and this will be a day I will never forget. Thank you to this organization for allowing my dream to come true.”

Throughout the show, Reece Weaver’s romance with college boyfriend Will Allman was a leading theme on the program that ended with the couple getting engaged in April 2023. Following the end of the show, the college sweethearts got hitched as Weaver once again made the team as one of the 24 returnees.

The dramatic journey of Sophy Laufer was heavily shown on the show with the cheerleader also earning a prized spot as part of the Cowboys’ cheerleading squad.

During one episode, Laufer had claimed that she’d been touched inappropriately by a cameraman while performing her duties at a Dallas Cowboys game. Despite wanting to press charges, she was informed by law enforcement that they didn’t possess enough evidence to go ahead with it, according to MSNBC.

The other cheerleaders who were featured in the show and will be returning this year includes includes Camille Sturdivant, Brooklyn Davis, Kennedy Hannan, Taylor, McKenna Gehrke, Anna Kate Sundvold, Zoë Dale, Madeline Salter, Chandi Dayle, Lea Tunnell, Kleine Powell, Tori, KayDianna MacKenzie, Armani Latimer, Amanda Howard, Kylie Dickson, Kelee, Jada Mclean, Megan McElaney, Kally Bethea, Karley Swindel, and Marissa Phillips.

With 10 new cheerleaders joining the team, the squad has been filled out by former Denver Nuggets dancer Sophia Brown and Maddie Krueger, who earned the title of Miss Dance of Texas in 2023.

The other newbies include Allison Khong, Darah Haidet, Ariel Brumfield, Julissa Garcia, Trinity Miles, Ava Lahey, Abby Summers, and Michelle Siemienowski.
