Travis Kelce, who is part of the Kansas City Chiefs, will be supported by his megastar girlfriend, Taylor Swift, during the Super Bowl but the singer won’t be joined by Blake Lively like she was last year

It’s Super Bowl Sunday and fans are gearing up for the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against Philadelphia Eagles.

With Travis Kelce being part of the Chiefs, it’s no surprise his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, will be at the stadium to support him as she does with many of his games. The football star usually attends many of her concerts and even appeared on stage when she performed in London last year.

During the last Super Bowl in 2024, Taylor’s best friend and It Ends With Us actress Blake Lively joined in the party as she watched on with the singer in her VIP suite. They celebrated alongside Ashley Avignone, Lana Del Rey, Ice Spice, Miles Teller, and Keleigh Teller as well as Travis’ parents.

However, Blake will most likely not be part of the show this year due her ongoing legal battle with It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni. Blake initiated a lawsuit over Justin’s supposed conduct. Blake has accused her co-star of sexual harassment and alleges a targeted PR campaign aimed at tarnishing her reputation post-film collaboration.

Justin soon countersued Blake and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, for $400 million, alleging an attempt to “destroy” his good name and career. It was also claimed Blake and Ryan’s lawyers have filed a notice to state that they will seek to dismiss Justin’s lawsuit. This is in line with Judge Lewis Linman’s court order, which outlined how the case will go ahead.

In Justin’s countersuit, the actor claims Taylor was present at a meeting that took place at Blake’s New York penthouse apartment over a re-write of a rooftop scene from the movie. In the documents, Justin claimed that tried to intimidate him by using her relationships with A-list husband Ryan and megastar Taylor, calling them “absolute titans” as well, as her “dragons.”

According to a recent report, the attention left Blake “horrified” that her close friend Taylor was dragged into the legal battle. Taylor could be grilled by Justin’s lawyer Bryan Freedman if he chooses to depose her ahead of the planned court case next year. The singer could be questioned for hours on film about her role in the long running saga.

And now, she reportedly won’t be in attendance at the Super Bowl. Explaining the reason why, a source told the Daily Mail: “Blake has not left the house since this started practically. Taylor wants nothing to do with this trial and court case.”
