Influencer Sydney Schiffer took to TikTok to share the ‘best feature’ about her Miami apartment building, which included a fully stocked mini supermarket filled with everything you’d need

A Miami woman has become an internet sensation after revealing an ‘insane’ feature of her apartment building that she claims makes her never want to move – and viewers are equally amazed.

Sydney Schiffer, a 26 year old influencer residing in Miami, Florida, boasts a TikTok following of over 940,000, where she regularly posts beauty and lifestyle videos. However, in a video shared on March 1, Sydney decided to showcase her favourite aspect of her apartment building, which viewers quickly dubbed a genius feature that more buildings should take note of.

“The best feature to my apartment building – look at this,” she said at the start of the video, before opening what appeared to be a regular door in her building.

Behind the door, she revealed a fully stocked mini supermarket brimming with pantry staples, snacks, and even fresh produce.

“I want to make cookies, but I was out of butter and milk,” Sydney informed her four million viewers before opening the fridge door and retrieving a block of butter and some milk.

She then panned around the compact store, which was packed with everything you might need, including crisps, chocolate, popcorn, juice and other beverages, condiments, and all the essentials you might need for a midnight snack.

The store also stocks everyday items that people often run out of, such as milk, bread, butter, cereal, coffee, and even household necessities like toiletries and pet food – making it easy to stock up on without having to leave the building.

“It has anything you could ever need, right downstairs,” she told the four million viewers.

The video then captures the checkout process, where she uses a self-checkout scanner to ring up her items before paying. In the comments, she mentioned that, since there’s no one working in the small shop, the room is packed with video cameras, and you must scan your items and then press a button to be released.

At the video’s conclusion, she gushed: “The best idea anyone has ever had for an apartment building. I never want to leave. Can I live here forever?”

Her enthusiasm was echoed in the comments section, where viewers expressed their admiration for the convenience of the room, with some wishing they had something similar in their own apartment blocks.

One person praised the shop as ‘life-changing’, while another lauded it as ‘genius’. However, amidst the praise for the pantry store, some raised concerns over robbery risks and suggested that items might be pricier than in regular grocery stores.

“You’re living in a high-trust area,” observed one comment, while another speculated: “Would be clutch but I just know that stuff is marked up at least twice the average price.”
