Beloved French fashion brand Jacquemus is serving up serious style at 30,000 feet in the air by giving Air France travellers free pyjamas on their flights, but there’s a catch

Jacquemus, the cult French fashion house which is known for its minimalist aesthetic and dreamy Mediterranean vibes, has partnered up with Air France to create exclusive pyjamas for the airline’s most elite passengers. The catch? You’ll need to be flying La Première, Air France’s most prestigious cabin experience, with a price tag starting at around £7,500 per ticket.

Lately, we’ve seen a major shift in luxury travel. Many airlines are now redefining what this means, from first-class suites up in the air to private chauffeurs that drive you directly to the plane to luxury onboard goodies. Now, Air France is honouring its commitment to elegance and comfort by providing these ultra-chic sleep sets to La Première passengers. Proving that no matter where you are, there’s no need to sacrifice style.

Designed by Jacquemus, the pyjamas are a refined blend of fashion and function. Think high-end loungewear with a designer twist. The pyjamas are conveniently available in four sizes. Additionally, passengers can choose between two silhouettes: a tailored V-neck for those who prefer a sleek fit or a more relaxed round-neck design.

Each set is made from soft, breathable cotton, which is perfect for regulating your body temperature when up in the air. Also, the set comes neatly packed in a pillowcase-style pouch in red or blue, Jacquemus’ signature colours.

Of course, it wouldn’t be Jacquemus without a little artistic flair. The pouch is adorned with a surrealist trompe-l’œil illustration, creating a playful optical illusion.

At the same time, the brand’s iconic “round-square” buttons serve as a subtle nod to its design DNA. The pyjamas themselves are embroidered with Air France’s winged seahorse logo and a discreet “Le Pyjama” tag, making them both stylish and collectible.

It’s a collaboration that feels distinctly French, understated yet luxurious, effortless yet considered. According to Fabien Pelous, Director of Customer Experience at Air France, every element was designed to elevate the flying experience.

“We are proud to partner with Maison Jacquemus and its innovative creativity to design a new loungewear set exclusively available in the La Première suites,” he said. “Every detail matters in creating a memorable travel experience.”

For Jacquemus fans, the partnership offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to snag a piece of the brand without setting foot in a boutique. However, only if you’re willing to fly in one of the most expensive airline cabins in the sky.

Still, if you’re jetting off to Paris in style, a complimentary designer pyjama set might just make that eye-watering price tag a little easier to swallow.
