Before you set sail, you’ll have time to explore the delights of Barbados, including the beautiful beaches on the west coast, as well as buzzing Bridgetown itself. And why not pay a visit to one of the island’s renowned rum distilleries?
On board Arvia, your cruise holiday will take you to plenty more idyllic isles and, at each stop, you’ll have the option of some exciting and authentic shore experiences.
Known as the ‘spice island’, Grenada is one of the most scenic of all Caribbean islands, with tropical rainforest, volcanic craters, mountain valleys, lakes and waterfalls.
For a little extra you could also book your very own P&O Cruises shore experiences on board (or before you travel) with options such as travelling through the rainforest on a river trip, followed by a welcome rum or fruit punch.
In Antigua – famed for its 365 white-sand beaches (one for every day of the year plus change) – you could choose to take a thrilling catamaran trip around the island before snorkelling through the nearby coral reefs.
One of the most diverse of the Caribbean islands is the half-Dutch, half-French St Maarten. Explore beautiful beaches and countryside, or simply spend some quality time at the chic boutiques, colourful market and charming cafés of the French Capital Marigot.
Other islands included in the itinerary include Martinique, St Lucia, St Kitts and Tortola.
You’ll also have plenty of time to enjoy all that Arvia has to offer. On days at sea, when not relaxing in your comfortable Balcony cabin, you can make the most of Arvia’s fabulous choice of activities and entertainment.
There are no fewer than four swimming pools, including an infinity pool and one with a swim-up bar.
You could play a round of minigolf, catch an entertaining live show at Headliners Theatre with its amazing LED backdrop, or dance the night away at the silent disco.

In the mood for a tipple? Whatever mood that is, there’s a bar to suit it. Offering a traditional pub feel, Brodie’s boasts a great range of real ales and ciders (18+, please drink responsibly).
You can also bask in the sophisticated, low-lit atmosphere of The 710 Club, with a classic cocktail or two.
And what could be more appropriate for the Caribbean than a tot of rum or two? Arvia has its very own rum distillery, and you can enjoy the delicious results at the chilled-out Anderson’s Bar.
Your cruise will end once you have sailed back to the original port of Bridgetown, from where you’ll fly back to the UK, arriving on 6 December – ready to plan your next P&O Cruises adventure!
