Former Love Island star Amber Davies is completely over Kem Cetinay, and she desperately wants you to move on, too, thank you very much.

The reality television personality parted ways with Kem in December 2017 – merely five months after securing the £50,000 Love Island prize money – plus a host of endorsements and TV appearances believed to be valued at £1million.

Amber previously lashed out at her supporters in 2018, demanding they cease discussing her former partner.. “Guys, this is getting so boring and simply irritating now,” she fumed.

“If Kem and I are over the relationship, I think YOU GUYS should be. I am allowed to move on and mostly allowed to be openly happy,” she said.

And just in case you missed it, she hammered home the message on Instagram, posting a screenshot of the tweet with the tetchy caption: “Get over it. I’m bored of seeing the same comments now.”

However, her admirers fought back, highlighting that she only triumphed because they ‘invested’ in the romance and cast their votes for the pair.

“I am sad Bc we still don’t know why it ended. I voted for you sis I need closure I was invested af,” penned one.

“I wonder how Kem Cetinay feels about this?” pondered another, while a third argued, “I think people try to hold on to it because that’s how you both made your fame.”

Following their victory on the programme in 2017, Amber secured half the prize money, plus a reported £500k contract with fashion label Motel Rocks.

And that’s without mentioning the interviews, endorsements, paid appearances and parties. PR guru Edward Hopkins previously forecast that by the end of 2017, she would be a millionaire.

However, while Kem and Love Island may have played a part in the dancer from Denbigh’s success, Amber is focused on the future. Since splitting up with Kem, she’s dated James Hawkins, but they split in August 2018. Amber is now in a relationship with actor Ben Joyce, whom she met in Back to the Future: The Musical back in 2022.

Taking to Instagram recently, West-End star Ben, who met Amber in 2022, showed his support for his girlfriend’s dancing endeavours, posting an image of the show’s glitterball, captioned “Does she ever stop?!! No, she doesn’t!!”

Speaking last month about entering the Strictly ballroom, Amber said: “This has been the craziest 24 hours of my life. I’ve watched Strictly with my family since I was younger, and to now be part of the show is a dream come true.”
