TOWIE star Chloe Brockett has shared an update with fans after she was rushed to hospital by her boyfriend Jack Fincham during the night after a severe asthma attack
The Only Way is Essex star Chloe Brockett has broken her silence after being rushed to hospital. The TOWIE star suffered a severe asthma attack last night, with her boyfriend Jack Fincham rushing her to A&E in fear. The reality TV star’s health has reportedly been suffering in the wake of Jack’s court case.
A source told The Sun that “Chloe has been ill for months” while trying to keep a strong front for Jack amid his legal woes, but behind the scenes: “She’s been cancelling work commitments and not seeing friends.” They added: “Last night she had a bad turn and ended up in hospital with a severe asthma attack. She’s always had asthma but it’s usually under control then last night she was struggling to breathe.”
Chloe has now taken to Instagram to share an update with fans. The reality TV didn’t mention her hospital dash, but instead promoted her new podcast with fellow reality star Jemma Lucy. Sharing a picture of the duo together, Chloe wrote: “If anyone wants to watch me and Jemma Lucy’s new podcast, give it a listen now.”
It comes after it was revealed that Love Island star Jack was with his girlfriend at the time, and “rushed her to A&E” where she was seen by professionals, and “spent a couple of hours there then returned home with Jack.” The source said the the drama of the last few months “has really taken its toll” on Chloe and her health, with Jack in and out of court after years of legal troubles.
Chloe has been open about going through a tough time since quitting TOWIE, blaming production for setting up her suspension from the show. While Chloe said she’s much happier now, she described the year following her departure as “hell.” Speaking to The Sun, she claimed that being on the series resulted in getting death threats and suffering at the hands of a stalker.
Meanwhile, Jack’s troubles have added to her stress, with her boyfriend having been sentenced to six weeks behind bars in January after his Cane Corso dog bit two people, causing an injury to one individual. However, hours after his sentencing, Jack was released from prison pending an appeal.
He was ordered to pay £3580 to the courts, including a £200 compensation fee to one of the victims and a £50 compensation fee to a second victim. Considering the high fee a payment plan was set up for Jack to pay £400 a month, after prosecutors said he has “no savings” despite his time on shows such as Love Island and following endorsement deals.
Jack flashed a thumbs up as he was led away to the cells after his sentencing, but Chloe didn’t seem to see any positive side. Instead, Chloe was photographed as she wept in the stands as her boyfriend was handed jail time, seated beside Jack’s brother and parents.
Prior to his most recent of many legal issues, Jack also revealed that he contemplated taking his own life while staying at a West Midlands country hotel with Chloe, in a terrifying moment for both members of the couple.
While Jack was binge drinking and gambling, Chloe rushed to the reception to tell staff to stop serving him drinks and asked them to call the ambulance as she was “scared he was going to kill himself.”
