Dr Stephen Cabral, a specialist in Neuropathy and host of The Cabral Concept podcast, shared his thoughts on Omega 3 Fatty Acids in a recent a TikTok video. The caption read: “I want people to know that there are always natural ways to achieve your health & wellness goals.

“This study shows that Omega-3 supplements help to reduce hunger and improve fat loss which is exactly what these GLP-1 drugs do. So, if you’re looking to lose weight and are thinking about taking Ozempic or any other GLP-1 pharmaceutical, try going the natural route first.”

In the clip, titled: “Natural Ozempic mimicking supplement”, he added: “Omega 3 fatty acids and appetite control, 2.4 grams on average was used. Participants reported a 20% reduction in hunger and an average reduction in caloric intake of about 200 to 300 calories per day.

“This was attributed to satiety after meals. Pretty remarkable that these individuals taking Omega threes can burn an extra couple hundred extra calories per day, but now they wanted to eat about 200 to 300 calories less per day.

“If you’re starting to think that this sounds a little bit like GLP ones or the results that a lot of Ozempic is getting people, but from a much more natural standpoint, you wouldn’t be wrong. Reducing hunger but also improving fat loss.”
