Fearne Cotton told fans she had split with Jesse Wood in December after a ten-year marriage – but now it appears both the broadcaster and the musician have found new partners

Fearne Cotton’s ex Jesse Wood is enjoying a passionate romance with a former actress and model, it is reported.

The 48-year-old musician is understood to be dating Gemma Gregory, who found fame at the age of just 13 when she appeared in a BBC television adaptation of a Charles Dickens novel. She portrayed the young Estella in the 1999 version of Great Expectations alongside screen legend Charlotte Rampling as Miss Havisham and Ioan Gruffudd as adult Pip.

And now it looks like Gemma has found her own real-life romance – in the son of Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie. A friend of the pair said: “They seem very happy and in love. They have been together some time and people around them know about their relationship… Gemma is a lovely woman who has been through some difficult times over the years. She deserves some happiness.”

The fling comes after Fearne, who has two children with Jesse, was snapped kissing a television director ten years her senior last month. The TV star was said to have been “shell shocked” after the pictures of her clinch with her new beau were published.

But it was several weeks after Fearne, 43, had announced the end of her marriage with Jesse. She told her Instagram fans: “”t is with a heavy heart that | let you all know that Jesse and I are ending our marriage. Our priority has been, and will always be, our children. We please ask that you respect the privacy of our family at this time.”

Just one week previous, the broadcaster, from Northwood, northwest London, had shared a health update after undergoing an operation to remove two benign tumours from her jaw.

She had also addressed the operation on her podcast, Happy Place, in which she interviews famous figures and talks about mental health. Gemma, 39, has also ventured into the wellness business, and has her own “sustainable” fashion brand, Recovered by GG.

Gemma’s Great Expectations drama won accolades, including the BAFTA TV Award for Best Costume Design in 2000, and she then went onto star in other TV programmes, including The Bill and My Family. However, she no longer acts, reports Mail Online.

Born in London, Gemma is the daughter of actor Paul Gregory. Gemma, who has also been a model, was romantically linked to Nicholas Knatchbull, son and heir of Earl Mountbatten. Her past boyfriends include Henry Brett, a captain of the England polo team, it is understood.

A friend of Made In Chelsea star Hugo Taylor since they were 13, Gemma appeared in the London-based reality TV series in 2012. She gave birth to a son, Benji, in 2014.
