The Netflix star recently chatted with Celebrity Skin Talk host Scott McGlynn about her beauty secrets

Former Love Is Blind contestant Jasmine Johnson has shared her must-have skincare buy for reviving tired eyes. The reality TV star appeared on the hit dating series last year and fell in love with Bobby. As an avid skincare fan, she was invited by Scott McGlynn on his recent episode of Celebrity Skin Talk on Instagram.

Sharing how she takes care of her skin, Jasmine said the PIXI Beauty Detoxifeye Depuffing Eye Patches have been helping her reduce any undereye puffiness. The handy hydrogel patches are infused with cucumber and gold to help soothe, nourish and fortify the skin to keep them refreshed and rehydrated.

Currently stocked at Boots, the PIXI Beauty eye patches are reduced from £22 to £14.67. PIXI Beauty also has a few other eye patches for shoppers with other concerns and that include the Beautifeye Brightening Eye Patches and Fortifyeye Firming Eye Patches.

Jasmine explained on the livestream: “Eye cream is only essential if I’m putting on makeup because of the thick powder, it gives a bit of pick me up. On a day-to-day basis, it’s not a massive essential for me, once I have my moisturiser which covers my eye area, I’d rather invest my money somewhere else and use facial moisturier instead. I don’t suffer much under-eye circles or bags so i’m not drawn to eye cream. But for puffy eyes, I love the PIXI Detoxifeye patches.”

Scott agreed with Jasmine and said he also skipped eye cream as he shared a beauty hack: “I use tea bags and leave it on for 10 minutes, happy days. I would soak the reusable cotton pads in my tea so it won’t drip down my face.”

Other than PIXI Beauty, Charlotte Tilbury launched Immediate Revival Eye Patches, £58, last year which claim to work on dark circles, dullness and dry skin within 10 minutes.

The PIXI Detoxifeye Patches are also loved by shoppers who want to refresh their eyes for a more mesmerising look. One shared: “I’ve bought three regularly for two years now. I have sensitive skin and I can use these without any reactions. They reduce puffiness and wrinkles under my eyes and they’re even better if stored in the fridge.”

One, however, complained that the hydrogel patches are “fiddly and slippery”, adding: “They are really difficult to apply and keep in place. They aren’t really the right shape to fit the undereye area either (or at least, not on me). If the wide end is just under my eye, the narrow end pokes into the corner of my eye. Sadly, I haven’t noticed any obvious effect on puffiness or dark rings either I’m afraid.”

There are eye patches made with felt fabric on one side to avoid it slipping down the face. The BeautyPro Retinol Under Eye Patch, £6, is great to use at night. Topicals’ Faded Under Eye Mask 6 Pack, £20, is also another popular option among shoppers.
