The launch of Samsung’s Galaxy S25 range means the slightly older S24 mobile has plummeted in price – we found a way to get it for less than £200

Samsung has just dropped the latest star in their Galaxy with the flagship S25 range, packed with new speeds and smart AI features it has everyone talking. When it comes to price, there’s another model that stood out to us, and the newest deal is too hard to ignore.

Samsung is offering a mega price on last years Galaxy S24, in a tempting offer shoppers can deal stack to drop the price to £192. As our tech team shares exactly how to do it.

Opposed to splashing out at least £859 on the newer S25, the cheaper S24 is certainly tempting especially as there are very few chages to the physical look of the two devices. Samsung’s already cut the price to £599 for shoppers who use the code ‘SHARELOVE’ at the checkout – and that’s not it.

Pasting in the nifty discount code is already a huge saving, even more so when just a year ago this S24 device launched at £799, so £599 feels like a big win but there’s more, as The Express reports. Anyone with a dusty old phone at home can hand it over can get an even bigger discount.

Up to £407 to be exact, but it does all depend on the model you trade in. Those with a Galaxy Z Fold5 in their pocket will cut £407 off – dropping the price to only £192 the biggest saving of all. Those with a S23 Plus will knock the price to £227 with a £372 trade-in saving.

Other models include the S21 Ultra wirh a £201 trade-in value. And if you don’t have a Samsung, Apple, Google, OPPO, or Huawei on the list you can pick ‘other smartphone’ and get £50 off the price.

If this piques your interest, the S24 has a lot to offer. This gadget boasts a fast processor, ample power, an impressive 6.2-inch screen and long-lasting battery life.

Being a year old it is not as advanced as the S25 but it does still come equipped with Galaxy AI that can eliminate unwanted photo intruders, organise your inbox and translate foreign phone calls in real time. It’s expected that some of the new AI enhancements recently unveiled by Samsung will eventually make their way to the S24 range, making these devices feel even more akin to their newer counterparts.

A downside to the S24, which no amount of upgrades will fix, is it’s processor. Anyone looking for the latest piece of Android tech should pick the more expensive £859 Galaxy S25 as this comes with the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy.

Speaking of the S25, Sky Mobile has been on all of our radars this week thanks to its free Galaxy Watch 7 offer. It is currently the only retailer handing out the £200+ smartwatch to anyone who buys the S25 mobile, it even beats Samsung.
