Fire TV Stick fans might want to check out what’s new from Amazon.
Amazon’s Fire TV Sticks might be some of the most popular ways of streaming TV but the online retailer has just launched a blockbuster upgrade that looks too good to miss. Along with its range of streaming sticks, the US firm has also offered a number of TVs that are all powered by its Fire OS operating system.
Now these connected screens are getting a major boost thanks to the unveiling of a new telly called the Omni Mini-LED Series.
These top-end goggleboxes not only offer simple access to all the most popular streaming services such as Disney+, Prime Video and Netflix but also feature more pixel-packed displays.
In fact, Amazon is boasting that its new Fire TV Omni Mini-LED Series “optimises picture quality, audio, and performance to deliver its best and most innovative TV yet”.
Thanks to that LED technology these updated screens are also much brighter and more vivid than their older siblings plus they support the latest Dolby Vision IQ, and HDR10+ Adaptive tech which helps improve detail along with offering better colours, deeper blacks, and richer contrast.
Other features include Intelligent Picture combines artificial intelligence with the lineup’s new advanced light and colour sensor to enhance picture quality by automatically identifying, analysing, and optimising scenes in real-time, fine-tuning picture details like landscapes, buildings, sports, and more.
There’s better sound, Wi-Fi 6E built in for seamless streaming and gaming mode with a 144Hz refresh rate.
Owners also get Amazon’s Ambient Experience’s New Immersive Art which transforms the TV into a giant piece of ever-changing artwork.
The Fire TV Omni Mini-LED series comes in three sizes(55-inch, 65-inch and 75-inch) with prices usually starting from £849.99.
However, those buying one today will get that cost reduced to just £649.99.

Along with that posh new TV, Amazon has also confirmed a reboot to its Series 4 screens which get a new design and the launch of a Fire TV Soundbar Plus to help boost your movie binges.
Amazon says its Fire TV Soundbar Plus is a 3.1-channel all-in-one soundbar with support for Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and DTS TruVolume. It also features four preset listening modes – Movie, Music, Sports, and Night – and has been designed to optimise audio no matter the content
