Millie May Sampson, who regularly shares home content, has shared her top tips to ensure your home smells amazing all the time – and you don’t need to light a single candle

Everyone dreams of a home that smells divine all the time without much effort – because who has the energy to keep spraying room fresheners or lighting candles half an hour before guests arrive?

Millie May Sampson, a popular home content creator, shared ‘five ways to make your home smell 10/10’ – and they’re all incredibly simple. She captioned her video: “Who’s going to try these? “.

Firstly, she suggested adding Zoflora “to your sink”, and then diluting it with “boiling hot water to make the room smell amazing”. She mentioned that she closes the door “to keep the steam in”, which helps the fragrance last longer.

Her next advice was to: “Add tumble dryer sheets to all your pillows – don’t forget the pillows on your bed and clothes drawers too”. For her next trick, you’ll need some fabric softener, as she recommended mixing it with “warm water” and then wiping it across “any radiators in the house”.

She also mentioned that turning on the heating after doing this would intensify the scent. Another tip she gave for keeping the bathroom smelling fresh is to soak kitchen roll with Zoflora, and wipe it “on the inside of your toilet rolls”.

“This keeps your bathroom smelling so nice”, she said – but cautioned against getting any on the actual loo roll itself.

Her fifth and final tip was: “Add some fabric conditioner and water to a pan and leave it on a low heat for an hour. A game changer!” In the comments, someone else said that they put the tumble dryer sheets behind their radiator, saying it’s “unreal”.

Another said: “I pour some Zoflora onto a cotton pad and put it in my shark filter. Spreads through the house when you’re hoovering”. “I just know your home smells dreamy”, someone complimented.

A cleaning lover asked which Zoflora smelled the best, and Millie said: “My favourites are vanilla and Amber, linen fresh and tulip and rose”.
