A stunning, luxurious Zara megastore has opened its doors and left fans wowed – it has its very own café, children’s play area, a huge home section and breath taking corridors

A beautiful and unique brand new Zara store has opened its doors and left people gobsmacked – it is the second largest store in the world and even has its own café.

Zara is one of those stories that needs no introduction – as the high street fashion brand continues to be one of the most popular in the world. From keeping up with latest trends to being home to some of the best perfume dupes, the stores have plenty to offer. Zara bosses have recently updating and opening brand new stores – from a huge new store in Leeds city centre to the world’s second biggest store in Lisbon, Portugal.

Fans have said they are willing to catch a fly just to see the store after being stunned by sneak peaks inside the Libson store. Last month the stunning shop opened in Praça D. Pedro IV, in the heart of Rossio – one of the best known areas of the Portugese capital city. You will walk through long, beautiful corridors, filled with marble features, and find many impressive boutique spaces for lingerie, beauty, shoes and bags as well as the Origins and Athleticz collections.

The store has a whole floor of children’s clothing – and your little ones can enjoy a soft play area while you shop. Plus, there is a whole Zara Home section which looks like you are stepping foot into someone’s kitchen, a book zone and dedicated makeup and beauty section.

Of course when you’re in the land of the best custard tarts you have to try one. The new Lisbon Zara store has its very own cafeteria area where you will find delicious custard tarts from Castro – which have previously been described as “the best pastries in Lisbon”.

So in between shopping you can enjoy a sweet treat and hot drink in a beautiful setting. The café also has branded pastry bags and coffee cups to add to the experience.

The store also provides the latest technological innovations from Zara’s integrated physical store and online services, with assisted check-outs and drop-off service, allowing customers to return online purchases automatically.

A sneak peak inside the impressive space was shared by Portugal based influencer João Catarino – leaving people impressed. “Time to go to Lisbon then,” one individual said. “Next holiday,” added another.

One individual tagged their friend and said they have a “hen doo activity sorted” thanks to the new space.

“Will be thinking about those ceilings for some time,” wrote another, admiring the interior. Another fan commented: “Excuse me…Zara AND sweet treats? Is this heaven?”

“Another reason to go to Portugal,” added another excited individual.
