The Saturdays star Frankie Bridge has got a new dainty heart tattoo on her hand as she told her fans on Instagram she was enjoying ‘a cute Saturday with the gals’
Frankie Bridge has got a new tattoo, which she had inked with her pals on Saturday.
The Saturdays star, 35, shared a video of herself getting a daintily-drawn heart etched onto her hand as she asked her followers on Instagram if the cute design made her “cool now”.
Sharing a clip of herself in the tattoo parlour, sporting baggy cargo jeans, burgundy Adidas trainers, an oversized shirt and grey woollen jumper, Frankie captioned the video: “Does this make me cool now?”
Also getting tattoos on the weekend, which Frankie described as a “cute Saturday with the gals”, were the mum-of-two’s friends, who posed with the Loose Women host in a black and white snap before opting for the numbers 3 and 18 for their tattoos.
After seeing Frankie’s new tattoo, the singer’s legion of loyal fans flocked to congratulate her on her new ink, with one replying: “Your tattoo is adorable”, while another gushed: “That is super cute”.
Aside from her new hand design, Frankie’s tattoo collection also includes a star tattoo on her wrist, and a neck inscription that reads “sunshine n showers”. This tattoo stems from a nickname the singer’s late grandmother gave her because of her different moods when she was growing up. Following the death of her grandmother, Frankie got the words tattooed onto the bottom of her neck.
The singer also has a tattoo on her ribs that reads “more than the world” in delicate scripture. Taking to Instagram at the time of her rib tattoo, Frankie explained how the design was inspired by her two sons Parker and Carter. “So this just happened!!! I love it so much!,” she gushed. “I’ve been wanting to get a tattoo for the boys for a really long time… But didn’t really know what I wanted it to be.”
Frankie’s son Parker, 10, was recently rushed to hospital when injured himself while the family was on holiday in the Maldives. The S Club Junior star, who is married to former footballer Wayne Bridge, with whom she also shares son Carter, eight, shared a snap of Parker with his arm in a sling.
Frankie posted on Instagram: “What’s really fun on holiday is when your child injures themselves and you need to get a boat to the hospital… on another island… in the middle of the night…” Reassuring fans, Frankie added, “Ps he’s fine and was very brave.”
The singer, who found fame with S Club Juniors before joining The Saturdays was recently asked if the girl group, which also includes This Morning host, Rochelle Humes, would reunite.
Speaking to the Mirror, she said as the girls are still close, it could happen, sharing: “We’re all on a group chat. We’re always up to date with what we’re all doing.”
