Love Island’s Curtis Pritchard could be in for a big payday after the show if he sticks with Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, after choosing to re-couple with her during tonight’s show.

Could Love Island’s Curtis Pritchard be setting himself up for a post-villa payout? The reality star shocked fans during tonight’s show when he chose to re-couple with Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu over bombshell Danielle Sellers, who had stolen him the night before.

After spending days getting to know Danielle, Curtis – who has been slammed as ‘fame hungry’ by his ex – is now vowing to treat Ekin-Su like a ‘princess’ in what could be a calculated move. If he sticks with the proven fan favourite, Curtis could be in for some ‘power couple’ brand deals after the show. Celebrity Publicist Ed Hopkins tells Mirror : “Ekin-Su is a well-established Love Island name with strong brand appeal, and aligning with her could elevate Curtis’s post-villa opportunities. However, it’s important to acknowledge that Curtis has always been a strategic player in the show, often making decisions that balance personal connections with long-term prospects.”

Ekin-Su’s initial villa stint in 2022 saw her pick up one of the biggest brand deals in Love Island history when she signed with high street giant Oh Polly for a reported £1M, meaning it’s no surprise that Curtis may want in on the action.

“They could absolutely position themselves as a Love Island power couple. Brands love a successful pairing, particularly when both individuals have established fan bases. We’ve seen previous couples leverage their joint appeal for lucrative deals, and with Ekin-Su’s international recognition and Curtis’s experience in the entertainment industry, there’s definite potential for collaborations in fashion, lifestyle, and further TV projects,” continues Ed.

However, the PR expert says it’s also about genuine feelings, something Curtis and Ekin-Su could do well from. He added: “The best partnerships both romantic and professional, are built on authenticity. If their connection is real, they’ll have the full backing of fans, and the opportunities will follow naturally. With their likeable personalities and drive, they could complement each other perfectly, making this a relationship that thrives both inside and outside the villa.”

It comes after Curtis’ ex-girlfriend, Sophie Sheridan, claimed the reality star will be ‘thrilled’ with the publicity from the show after hoping for more fortune from his fame.

“For Curtis, going on All Stars is motivated by money and boosting his career. He wants to be a millionaire by the time he’s 30 and is obsessed with fame. He loves people knowing who he is, and he also wants the money that comes with that,” she told The Sun.

Claiming the reality star had her pretend they were broken up so he could appear on Love Island Games in 2023, Sophie said, “When he was on Love Island Games it was so difficult but he convinced me to pretend we weren’t together anymore because he needed the money for our future. Everyone thinks if you’ve been on Love Island you’re filthy rich, but that’s not the case, so I felt pressure to go along with his plan.”
