Callum Ryan has shared what happened when he decided to only eat using the Too Good To Go app for 24 hours, and one of his mystery bags left him absolutely stunned

A man decided to only eat Too Good To Go mystery bags for an entire day, and one meal in particular left him gobsmacked.

TikToker Callum Ryan, who boasts more than 1.1million followers on the video-sharing app, shared what he managed to bag for breakfast, lunch and dinner in a recent video.

Too Good To Go is a platform that sells surplus food – customers pay a small fee and receive a mystery bag filled with various items that would have otherwise been thrown away by restaurants, shops and cafes. This means you could potentially score some really pricey items for a bargain.

For breakfast, Callum chose a mystery bag from Britain’s most beloved bakery – Greggs. He shelled out just £2.59 and was “pleasantly surprised” when he got two croissants, a pack of sausage rolls, four donuts and a baguette sandwich.

Callum managed to secure a lunchtime slot at London’s Hangry Pizza for his next meal, and forked out £3.99 for three massive slices of pizza. He said: “What’s mad with this mystery bag, I had no idea what would be inside, and these were fresh pieces of pizza – these weren’t even going out of date!”

For dinner, Callum headed to an Indian restaurant called Curry Bae in Richmond. Incredibly, after paying just £4, Callum revealed: “I was told my food was going to be made fresh for me!” He received a biryani, poppadoms, as well as mint sauce, and declared: “For £4 it was definitely worth it.”

Callum’s video has racked up more than 15,000 views online. One commenter explained how Callum was able to bag so much fresh food, writing: “It’s not always food that’s going out of date, it’s food that hasn’t sold etc.”

This comes after another influencer thought she had bagged a bargain with the Too Good To Go app, before opening her mystery bag from Morrisons and realising some of it was inedible.
