Mixed metal is the chic way to wear your jewellery this autumn, with Missoma’s gold and silver hoops making the perfect choice – and now they’re back in stock after selling out in a week

Mixed metals are one of the top jewellery trends for autumn, and Missoma’s gold and silver hoop earrings nail the trend so perfectly that they sold out within a week. But now they’re finally back in stock, and you can get your hands on the Hera Dome Double Ridge Medium Hoop Earrings, £159, once again.

However considering how quickly they sold out last time, we reckon you’ll need to be quick to snap them up before they’re gone again. Giving the look of two hoop earrings in one, you can switch them up to give one metal more of a focus than the other depending on your mood – and your outfit, of course.

The Missoma mixed metal hoop earrings have a domed, angular shape that sets them apart from your standard circular hoops, and adds just the right amount of edge to your outfit. They’re also perfectly paired, with silver on the outside of one and on the inside of the other, so no matter which ear you wear them in they’ll match perfectly.

They’re the perfect size for amping up your every day outfit or adding a chic twist to an evening look, measuring 24.5mm high and 16.5mm wide at the thickest point. Despite their chunky size, they’re lightweight enough to wear all day without pulling, weighing 12.6g.

The gold side is covered with 18ct recycled gold plating whilst the silver section has rhodium plating. The hoops, like all of Missoma’s jewellery, are handcrafted by teams in India and Thailand, which are regularly checked by the Responsible Jewellery Council.

Both hoops sit side by side on the post, giving them a layered look that, at first glance, looks like two separate earrings side by side. This stacked style is super chic and sophisticated and lets you amp up your accessories without having to actually wear multiple pairs of earrings.

If you prefer a single hoop style, Mejuri’s Mixed Medium Tube Hoops, £78, are perfect for a more minimalist take on the mixed metal trend. The tube-style hoop is half silver, half gold and can be worn with either metal facing the front. They also have an outer diameter of 18mm making them dainty enough to be worn during the day.

Alternatively if you want a more playful take on the trend, July Child’s Sweetheart Hoops are currently on sale down from £60 to £30 and have a chunky silver heart delicately hanging from a simple gold hoop. Elsewhere, Coeur De Lion has an amazing range of hoop earrings in both silver and gold, some of which feature sparkling gems in an array of colours from black through to rainbow.

However if Missoma’s Hera Dome Double Ridge Medium Hoop Earrings have been on your wishlist for a while, now is the time to get them – we don’t know how long before they sell out again!
