M&S shoppers have praised the popular shoes – which come in five different shades – and dubbed them the “comfiest trainers ever.”

Marks and Spencer shoppers are praising a “stylish” pair of trainers they’ve been snapping up online. According to fans, the shoes are the “comfiest trainers ever.”

The M&S Leather Side Detail Trainers, which are priced at £45, are available in five shades – beige mix, navy mix, black mix, pink mix and sage. They come in sizes three to eight, including half sizes.

The trainers are designed in a regular fit, with a lace-up fastening and a flat heel. They also feature a contrast side detail and Freshfeet™ technology which “helps to minimise odour for all-day comfort,” according to M&S.

Marks and Spencer offers a huge range of footwear, including many trainers, such as Suede Side Detail Platform Trainers in red and pink for £49.50, and the Lace Up Platform Trainers in three shades for £29.50. There’s also the Leather Side Detail Trainers in a pale pink mix for £49.50.

The trainers have an overall rating of 4.4 stars online, having gained rave reviews from impressed shoppers. Among them, one person said: “These trainers are so comfortable , like walking on air! Brilliant value and true to size.”

A second shopper wrote: “Comfiest trainers ever. I don’t normally buy trainers as I have wide feet and can never find anything that’s comfortable and stylish.

“Husband spotted these and I tried them on in hope – guess what, they fit like a dream. Comfy straight away, no wearing in and they support my foot well and look great.”

A third added: “Great fit, true to size. So comfy, spent all day walking in them, on first wear, and no problems. May well order another pair in a different colour.”

A fourth added: “They are extremely comfortable and light in weight. They fit really well, are supportive and I love the colour, as they go so well with cargo trousers and jeans.”

Another impressed shopper said: “Really comfortable and stylish, a great value for money. I bought in two colours and love them.”

However, not all shoppers were so happy with the shoes. One person said: “I liked the colourway and they were comfortable but I didn’t like the shape of the sole. This wasn’t visible from the picture online.”

Another wrote: “They were fine at first. Comfortable and fit well. But they have no grip in wet and frosty/icy conditions. I have slipped a number of times. After 6 weeks there are holes developing. Would not buy again! Very bad value for money.”
