Samsung’s new Galaxy range hits the shelves this week and O2 is knocking hundreds off its S25 and S25 Ultra contracts

Just before the new Samsung Galaxy range hits shelves, O2 has begun cutting hundreds of pounds of customers’ bills. Samsung’s latest smartphone range – which includes the S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra – is released on Friday, February 7, and O2 is tempting customers with a massive £480 discount on select contracts.

The savings are applied with a £10 discount every month on select 48-month contracts, including the 30GB Plus, 125GB, 150GB Plus, Unlimited and Unlimited Plus airtime plans. It won’t be around forever, though, with O2 confirming the deal will end on March 19.

Samsung fans can now get their new Galaxy S25 on reduced contracts starting at £37.26 for the 30GB Plus plan. This also comes with a £30 upfront cost, but shoppers can double their phone’s storage with 512GB for the price of 256GB model if buying on February 6.

Prices for the Galaxy S25 Ultra now start at £47.47 per month on the discounted 30GB Plus plan, with £30 upfront. However, the Galaxy S25+ is not included in the deal, with this model available from £47.92 on the 1GB Classic plan.

As well as 5G data and unlimited UK calls and texts, those opting for the ‘Plus’ plan deals will also receive added benefits like O2 Switch Up, which allows you to swap your phone for any of the latest models every 90 days. Plus plans also include free roaming in 75 countries and an inclusive O2 Extra for six months.

This means members can bag free subscriptions to Disney+ or Amazon Prime, which are also available on the ‘Classic’ plans but for a shorter three-month period. However, like most providers, O2 is set to increase its prices in April, with the 30GB Plus plan increasing to £49.27.

It’s always worth checking coverage in your area before signing up for any contract, as plenty of other providers like Sky Mobile has also reduced their S25 prices. Sky is offering the S25 from £30 per month on a 36-month contract when paired with one of its data plans.

Many of these have been reduced ahead of the S25 launch, including the £22 unlimited data option. Shoppers don’t have to sign up for a contract to bag themselves the latest Samsung, with Amazon among the retailers offering it outright. There are also some hefty discounts up for grabs, with the standard S25 reduced to £799 from £859 and the S25 Ultra reduced to £1,249 from £1,349.
