The new Tesco jacket is proving popular with shoppers on TikTok
Supermarket giant Tesco is selling a new jacket that looks very similar to one sold by Zara. The jacket is proving popular on TikTok, with shoppers keen to get their hands on it.
Tesco is home to it’s own fashion brand F&F Clothing, which offers a wide variety of wallet-friendly clothing, shoes and accessories. In recent years, the brand has become hugely popular with fashion fans.
Now, the retailer is selling a faux leather biker jacket that is very similar to one previously sold by fashion brand Zara, which was priced at £60 online. Zara’s Leather Effect Cropped Biker Jacket flew off the rails after former Love Island star Molly Mae posted it on her social media back in 2022.
The jackets are very similar in design, both featuring notched lapel, epaulettes, long sleeves and metallic studs. They both also have zip pockets, crossover zip fastenings and a belt at the hem.
However, while the Tesco version is priced at £39.50, Zara’s jacket was priced at £59.99. This means shoppers can save around over £20 by opting for the budget alternative.
On TikTok, user @fandflongeaton shared a video of the jacket online. The clip was captioned: “RUN TO TESCO RIGHT NOW,” while text over the clip read: “It’s giving Molly Mae. New at Tesco.”
Another user @fandfmerthyr posted a video alongside the caption: “Look who’s back! The popular biker jacket. Get it quick.” Beneath the post, one shopper said: “love love love this.”
A third, @.kourtney91, added: “Leather jacket at Tesco. It’s back.” Text over the clip read: “Tesco doing it’s thing.”
