Amazon has launched a surprise sale on its own devices, including Fire TV Sticks, Ring video doorbells and Echo smart speakers

As if from nowhere, Amazon has launched a flash sale across its own-brand tech range. There’s discounts on everything from Fire TV Sticks and Ring Video Doorbells to Fire tablets and Fire TVs, with select gadgets reduced up to half price.

Among the highlights include £500 off the latest addition to Amazon’s Fire TV range, the 75” Omni Mini-LED series and £70 off the Fire Max 11 tablet. There’s also £80 off the Ring Outdoor Camera Pro for those looking to bolster their home security without breaking the bank.

The only catch is that Amazon hasn’t said how long these deals will stick around for, only confirming that they’re here for a ‘limited time’. So with this in mind, we better not hang around.

Here’s our favourite deals on Amazon devices:

Fire TV Sticks

Amazon’s Fire TV Sticks are always a big seller when a new sale comes around, so we’re expecting this latest round of deals to be no different. Amazon’s popular streaming devices have been reduced up to 33%, with savings of £20 up for grabs across the three models.

Amazon appears to have done away with the Fire TV Stick Lite, with the entry level model now being the Fire TV Stick HD at £29.99 – down from £39.99. But there’s also the £39.99 Fire TV Stick 4K at £39.99 and Fire TV Stick 4K Max at £49.99 for those looking to upgrade their TV with an even clearer picture.

Whichever model you choose, you’re getting access to countless films and series on streaming apps, all on this little gadget that plugs straight into a TV’s HDMI port. Here’s a breakdown of the new Fire TV Stick deals.

Fire TVs

Last year saw the launch of a new addition to the Fire TV range, the Omni Mini-LED series, and now it’s on sale. Prices for this QLED 4K UHD smart TV now start at £699.99 for the 55” model – an enticing £150 saving from the usual £849.99.

But opting for the largest 75” model can save a cool £500 if you’re happy to invest the £1,099.99 asking price. If that seems a bit rich, there’s also discounts on the old faithful Omni QLED series and 4-Series, with prices starting at £319.99 and £229.99 respectively.

Amazon’s entry level TV is the 2-Series, the HD device that’s ideal for the bedroom or for gifting to the kids for £149.99. For something a bit different, there’s also a Sky Glass sale running indefinitely, with Sky’s own 4K smart TV reduced to £27, with more than 100 channels, Netflix and Discovery+ all included in one subscription.

Fire tablets

If you’re looking to invest in a new tablet without spending the high asking prices of rival brands, Amazon’s Fire tablet range is always a good alternative. Amazon’s most premium tablet is the Fire Max 11, which you can now get with £70 off at £179.99 for the 64GB model.

It’s still the most expensive Fire tablet available, but it boasts Amazon’s most powerful processor, a crystal clear 11” strengthened glass screen with 2.4 million pixels and up to 14 hours of battery life. There are more affordable options available though, like the Amazon Fire HD 10 for £104.99 – down from £149.99 – and Amazon Fire HD 8 at £69.99 – down from £99.99.

It’s also worth checking out Sky Mobile’s tablet deals which let shoppers spread the cost rather than pay up front, like the £5.50 per month Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 deal. Amazon also offers a range of tablets designed specifically for kids, which provide plenty of ad-free, age-appropriate content and parental controls.

There’s £55 off both the Fire HD 10 Kids Pro and the Fire HD 8 Kids Pro, which have dropped to £144.99 and £94.99 respectively.

Ring Video Doorbells

There’s some whopping savings on offer for security conscious shoppers, with Amazon’s Ring video doorbell and camera range reduced by up to 50%. The largest price drop we’ve seen is on the Ring Outdoor Camera Pro, which is now half price at £79.99 – down from £159.99.

There’s also the New Ring Battery Video Doorbell and Indoor Camera bundle at £79.99, which comes in at £69.99 cheaper than if you bought each device separately at £149.98. However, it’s worth noting you can get the Ring Battery Video Doorbell on its own for £59.99, including the version that can be stuck to a wall with no drill mount for £69.99.

Here’s a selection of the other Ring devices on sale:

Echo devices

And last but not least, a handful of devices from Amazon’s Echo range – featuring its popular Bluetooth smart speakers – are also on sale. The latest addition to the Echo line-up is the new Echo Spot at £59.99 – down from £79.99 – which is touted as a ‘sleek [and] smart alarm clock’ that boasts a range of Alexa commands including playing music, checking the weather and controlling compatible smart home devices.

The latest Echo Show 8 is £50 off at £99.99, meaning you can watch videos, make video calls and control your home with the built-in smart home hub for less. Amazon also offers the child-friendly Echo Show 5 Kids for £69.99 and Echo Dot Kids for £44.99.

However, the biggest discount is on the Echo Buds, the wireless, noise cancelling earbuds with Alexa built-in, which are more than half price at £54.99 – £75 off the usual £129.99. Compatible with both iOS and Android phones, these buds boast an IPX4 sweat and water resistance rating and a battery life of up to 15 hours with the included charging case.

Another tempting alternative is Sky Mobile’s audio deals, with the brand offering Apple’s AirPods Pro 2 or Samsung’s Galaxy Buds3 Pro for £7 when spreading the cost.
