Don’t fancy paying a monthly subscription for Sky? Argos has a deal that’s worth checking out.

If you want an internet-connected TV that offers instant access to live and on-demand content then Sky Glass is genuinely tough to beat. This screen connects to your broadband with premium shows, sports and movies display on the 4K panel without needing an ugly dish drilled into your chimney. It also gets a built-in soundbar, offers personalised recommendations and can store things to watch at a later date via its online Playlists function. It’s a top-notch telly but it does come at a price. The screen will set you back £14 per month with Sky then charging over £30 to add its channels and features such as advert skipping.

If that price and signing up for a long-term contract sounds a little scary them there is another way to tune into live telly without the need for a dish or aerial.

Freely is a relatively new service that also uses the web to beam things to watch to the big screen. This service – which also offers on-demand content and recommendations – comes built into many new TVs and even lets you pause live should someone know at the door.

It’s totally free to watch and there’s no need to sign up for a long-term contract or hand over any credit card details.

If that sounds enticing, Argos has just launched a new deal on the Bush range of Freely TVs. These start from just £249 for the 43-inch model but that can be reduced by an extra 10% by simply using the code BUSH10 at the checkout.

Along with that smaller display, the same discount can be applied to 50-inch and 55-inch screens as well with the deal available until October 1.

Here are all the deals which are clearly proving to be popular with Argos confirming they are “selling fast” and “in demand”.
