Language analysis and body language expert Judi James said Donald Trump’s statement showed elements of “overkill” in regarding to a particular word he repeated throughout his post

Donald Trump broke from his typical tone when announcing the US and Russia agreed to hold negotiations to end the war in Ukraine, a language analysis expert has revealed.

President Trump today announced he had a lengthy phone call with Vladimir Putin where the two leaders agreed to enter into negotiations to bring the devastating war in Ukraine to an end. In a post shared to his social media platform TruthSocial, Trump said: “I feel strongly [the negotiations] will be successful.

“Millions of people have died in a War that would not have happened if I were President, but it did happen, so it must end,” he continued in the TruthSocial post. “No more lives should be lost. I want to thank President Putin for his time and effort with respect to this call.”

Trump vowed to bring an end to the war within his first day of office during his successful campaign for the presidency. But a body language and language analysis expert has picked apart his statement and found the president made a clear break away from his typical bragging tone.

Body language and language analysis expert Judi James told The Mirror: “This statement is peppered with references of active concurrence and united thinking between Trump and Putin. The word ‘We’ is used over a dozen times, which is especially overkill coming from a man who normally marinates his dialogues in the word ‘I’ when he speaks.

“The use of ‘We’ here comes in statements of unity: ‘We both reflected’ ‘As we both agreed’ ‘We both believe strongly…’ etc. The implication is that there has been a natural, effortless symmetry of thoughts, values and objective between the two leaders.

”Trump is a natural alpha but there is no attempt to suggest any pressure being put into these decisions or even any real sense of negotiation or ‘win’. It is made to sound like a natural meeting of minds. Even Trump’s mantra of ‘Common sense’ is suggested as, coincidentally, Putin’s mantra too. This sounds like mirrored thinking, a naturally like-minded approach. Even their agreements are emphasized: ‘We agree strongly’.

”Zelensky is mentioned less, with Trump stating that he will be ‘informed of the conversation’ in a call Trump will be making ‘right now’. These verbal references could be a deliberate factor in the negotiations with Putin though. Trump is a skilled business negotiator and one of the key steps in any negotiation is to find common ground and mutual objectives first. Trump even used both country’s losses in WWII to establish this sense of empathy and the agreement of core goals.

“Putin’s personal leadership style is based on alpha credentials and displays of power and strength. Trump is a very different, free world leader but his basic leadership style is alpha. The wording of this statement could easily be a ‘stroke’ to that style of ego, speaking of goal-meshing rather than any form of critical alpha ‘pushing’ that can lead to resistance.”
