The below soundbars vary in size, and some offer more power and features than others. What they’re all guaranteed to do, though, is enhance the sound of your TV so you can get the most out of watching your favourite shows and films.

If you’re a gamer, soundbars are also a great way to heighten the playing experience of your favourite games on TVs or computers. Some of the below soundbars will also connect to tablets and smartphones, perfect for playing music around your home.

Saiyin Soundbar, £30.39

The cheapest soundbar on our list is this 17-inch gadget that fits neatly under TVs or desktop monitors and can also be wall-mounted. The Saiyin Soundbar is an Amazon best-seller and usually costs £39.99, however for a limited time it can be yours for £30.39.

Don’t let its small size put you off, as it has two 20W full-range drivers which deliver ‘clear and immersive sound’ throughout any room. The soundbar can connect to many devices via Bluetooth, including TVs and smartphones.

Over 1,400 Amazon shoppers have snapped it up already, with one happy buyer saying: “Not too bulky and easy to set up with all necessary connections provided. The sound is very good, with plenty of bass when needed.”

Unfortunately one customer wasn’t as impressed, as they explained: “The fact you cannot adjust bass and treble in any way meant I sent it back for a refund.”

Groov-e Soundbar, £31.99

If you’re looking for an easy-to-use soundbar that’s simple to set up, Groov-e’s is a good option. It offers 50W of power which isn’t as powerful as some of the other soundbars on our list, but it offers ‘crisp and clear audio’ with a ‘deep bass’.

The soundbar has three listening modes – music, voice, and movie – and usually retails for £42.99, but Amazon currently has it on sale for £31.99. The gadget has multi-connectivity options including wireless via Bluetooth or wired using AUX, coaxial or optical, and also features a USB drive play mode for direct listening.

One satisfied customer awarded the soundbar five stars and commented: “Such a great speaker and very premium sounding at an excellent price.” Unfortunately one shopper had an issue with the connectivity cable, as they explained: “Disappointed I only got a cheap optical cable that didn’t connect well to the TV or soundbar – I had to buy another.”

MAJORITY Bluetooth Soundbar, £58.95

This soundbar can connect to your TV and other devices via Bluetooth and says its built-in subwoofer delivers ‘earth-shaking bass’, setting it apart from similar gadgets. It comes in at 81cm in length and offers 120W of power, boasting 2.1 Stereo Sound.

As well as Bluetooth, the MAJORITY Soundbar can connect to devices via AUX, Optical and RCA, and it can also be wall-mounted. Over 12,800 Amazon shoppers have already added the gadget to their home, and while one buyer unfortunately experienced ‘significant sound drop-out’, others are impressed.

One satisfied customer who has owned it for two years said: “It stands out as one of the best speakers I own. Its 120W output delivers clear, powerful sound with adjustable Bass and Treble controls.”

Our team has reviewed it’s bigger MAJORITY Sierra Plus model before, and while not the same model as the £58.95 one above it’s another one to consider. As our reviewer Jake Hackney said: “The TV’s speakers just felt more immersive and rounded, whereas the audio from the soundbar felt thin. With that in mind, I thought I’d take it home to try on my own 43” Hisense 4K smart TV which I picked up around the £250 price range.”

ULTIMEA 4.1ch Soundbar with Subwoofer, £84.99

If you’re wanting a soundbar and a subwoofer to enhance the sound of your smart TV, this Amazon’s Choice ULTIMEA bundle is a great deal. Usually priced at £99.99, the gadget set can be yours for £84.99 for a limited time.

The soundbar itself can be split in half to create two smaller speakers, a particularly handy feature if you have a larger room and want the sound to come from different corners. The gadget creates ‘a balanced sound’ with ‘richer lows and crisper highs’, and has wired and wireless dual connection options.

The ULTIMEA Soundbar bundle has an overall rating of 4.5 out of five. While one customer unfortunately experienced ‘terrible vibrations’, an impressed buyer commented: “Astonishing budget soundbar. Excellent sound quality even at high volumes with little to no distortion. Excellent bass, loud and powerful. Easy to assemble and use. Sleek design.”

Hisense 2.1 CH Soundbar and Subwoofer, £99

Last but not least is this Hisense bundle comprising a 240W soundbar and wireless subwoofer. The soundbar has seven preset settings and can connect to your TV or device wirelessly via Bluetooth or using an HDMI cable.

The Hisense bundle, which usually costs £149 but its currently on offer for £99, uses DTS Virtual X, a technology that creates a three-dimensional surround sound experience. The brand claims you’ll ‘feel the boom’ from both the soundbar and subwoofer as they project ‘bright and clear high-range and mid-range frequencies’.

Sadly one Amazon customer found the Hisense soundbar and subwoofer to be ‘underpowered’, however another awarded the bundle five stars and wrote: “Sound is excellently loud and clear, the speaker is high quality… It was very easy to set up and the soundbar settings can be changed in the TV settings – how convenient. It perfectly sits below the TV, and the subwoofer is slim but powerful, so it does not eat up too much space.”
